Goldfinch Acoustics strives to make sure its clients are fully satisfied with their purchases, so we have carefully formulated our policy for Return, Replacement, Exchange and Cancellation.
Return:
Return in this context means when you buy a product that is marked as “Eligible for 15 days return” and find it not fulfilling the requirement or you feel that the product does not sound the way you like, we offer no questions asked 15 days return policy- A first in India ?. It is important to note the following points
– The 15 days return polity is NOT applicable for all the products.
– Product that says “Eligible for 15 days return” are the ONLY products that are eligible for this scheme.
– There will be a 20% restocking fee charges on total invoice amount of the product returned. Same will be deducted from the refund
– The product should be returned in the original package With all original accessories, perfectly packed.
– If you have damaged the Box it will not be eligible for the return.
– The product returned should be as good as new condition without any scratches or damage.
– Up on receiving the package our team will inspect the product and send a refund approval email if all the conditions are satisfied.
– Refund will be processed with in 7 working days of receiving the package- Return shipping to be paid by you and you should ship it using Blue dart only, if for any reason blue dart is not feasible please discuss with us before shipping on any other courier.15 days return strictly NOT entertained
– If you have bought a product on sale / discount- if you have bought a customised product- If the 15 days timeline is crossed even by 1 day-Most importantly if the product you purchased does not fall under 15 days return category
How to do it ?
After you receive your package, as soon as you decide, for whatever reason you want to return the product using 15 days return policy you should send an email to info@goldfinchacoustics.com. Kindly mention your order number in the email. We should approve the return with in 2 working days via email, so that you can ship the unit back to us. If you don’t hear back from us on time feel free to pick your phone and give us a ring at 9900059087. Please do not confuse this “approval to return” email with the final “refund approval” email.
The product should reach us with-in 15 days from the date of delivery. So please time your Return request email accordingly. If your decision to return the product comes a bit late and it crosses 15 days then we are not responsible for this, return request shall be declined.
As far as we know Goldfinch Acoustics is the first dealership in India providing such return policy to its consumers. We hope you really appreciate this and the fact that we don’t lock you up with the store credit, yes you get your money back (albeit lesser). We believe that its not difficult for an audiophile like you to understand that we are already taking a risk for you and once you open the box and return it we will not be able to sell it at full price. We know you like to know what if you did not open the box and return it in sealed condition ? Sorry but we will still deduct 20% for all the inconvenience we go through and operational expenses associated with the transaction.
Replacement:
Replacement in this context means you receive your order and find the unit to be not functioning. We want to be nice to you so in a situation where the product goes bad much too early, instead of breaking your heart with warranty claim we are going an extra step to provide you a replacement, however this is only for a fixed period of 10 days.
Below are the points to note for this scenario:
– If you receive the product and find it to be not functioning properly you need to inform us about the issue within 24 hours of receiving the product and return it with in 3 days for a replacement
– If your unit malfunctions with-in 10 days of receiving the order we will provide a replacement. Please note that it will be replaced with the exact same model and colour, you cannot request us for a different product or model as replacement.
– If we do not have ready stock available for replacement you will have to bear with us until the new stock arrives, this might take few weeks time, but it is our responsibility to keep you posted on the progress
– If an accessary is not working properly we will only replace the accessary, please do NOT ask us to replace the entire product.- After 10 days if you face any issue with the product, we will take responsibility to properly service your unit and safely return it to you in working condition.
– whether we charge you for the repair or not will be based not he warranty rules of the manufacturer.- please note that any physical damage or damage due to any user error or negligence will NOT be covered under this exchange policy. So please stay away from trying out your luck with the so called audiophile fuses 🙂
– This replacement policy is aimed at covering ONLY the manufacturing defect. All other scenarios are excluded.
How to do it ?
Upon receiving the order if you find the product not functioning kindly send us an email to info@goldfinchacoustics.com. Same goes to the situation where your product fails with in 10 days of receiving it. If you think we are slow in responding to your email, feel free to call us at 9900059087. Exchange:
Exchange policy is to cover human errors on Goldfinch Acoustics side of things, let’s say if you ordered apple and we sent you gold or vice versa we will immediately exchange the product as per the actual order. We will take the return shipping cost on us. However please note that there won’t be any refund in this case we can only replace the order with the correct one.
Cancellation:
Cancellation in this context has a very simple meaning to it. You placed an order and completed the payment, then you immediately realise that you have placed order for wrong product, colour, specification or model just call us and stop us from despatching your order.
What happens if we have despatched your order before you realise your mistake ? Sorry it is too late. If the product falls under 15 days replacement category you could return it with a 20% restocking fee. If the product does not have 15 days replacement option then we won’t be able to do anything about it.
